Pinnacle Placements has been engaged by an innovative global business leader to identify and assist in hiring a top-tier Manager of Cyber Security. This individual will be a technical cyber security leader reporting to the organizations Global Director of Cyber Security.

This critical role will lead the evolution of the Cyber Security program and drive leadership in three key areas:

  1. Cyber Security Solutions
  2. Governance
  3. Risk Management and Assurance

To do so, you will need to have previous hands on experience building and developing cyber security strategy and design for enterprise wide security initiatives. You will lead a team of six cyber security professional (in a variety of roles) offering mentorship and technical leadership.

The Senior Manager of Cyber Security will drive security improvement at the enterprise level by collaborative partnering with various internal stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, update and execute a long-term, multi-year, strategic enterprise-wide security plan
  • Serve as subject matter expert for IT, product and business initiatives
  • Direct and lead a team of cyber security professionals providing them with professional and technical leadership
  • Recognize and grasp fundamental internal (and proprietary) business processes and apply security guidance that ensures efficient business operations
  • Design processes and governance structure around  cyber security solutions
  • Implement cyber processes and tools that emphasize automation and Cloud first commitment
  • Provide subject matter expertise around security architecture concepts and methods that propel enterprise IT needs

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 to 5+ years as a cyber security manager or team leader
  • 8+ years of cyber security experience along with a bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Considered a subject matter expert in at least 3 of the following domains: network security, platform security, app security, data security or cloud security
  • Effective influencer and communicator in a fast paced, collaborative environment
  • Expert knowledge in industry standard frameworks such as ISO, NIST, OWASP etc.
  • Top notch written and verbal communication skills, with prior experience presenting to an executive audience

Pinnacle Placements has been engaged by a preeminent cultural institution seeking an experienced, dynamic leader to oversee all aspects of security functions across the organization. The Director of Security is responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive security, business continuity, emergency preparedness, fire and life safety policy and programs to ensure the safety of staff, guests, assets and property.

Primary Duties:

  • Direct, manage, lead and train proprietary security department staff to provide 24 hour-a-day protection and security. Coordinate security for all public and private events and day-to-day operations in a manner which ensures proper safety and security levels.
  • Review, revise and implement changes to business continuity plan, strategic security program, policy and procedures. Oversee security and emergency preparedness drills to educate staff about safety, security, emergency preparedness and response.
  • Conduct security, fire and life safety assessments on regular basis. Advise executive management on findings and recommended program changes.
  • Consult and collaborate with department heads and staff to review and define security needs to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Lead the thorough investigation and reporting of all incidents, accidents, theft, damage, injury or fire. Ensure that all records and reports are distributed, and archived.
  • Direct comprehensive and on-going training for security staff and personnel.
  • Oversight of existing security systems, technology, CCTV, devices and integration of.
  • Prepare, oversee and manage operational budget and payroll.
  • Establish, build and maintain effective working partnerships with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS Degree
  • 7 years of active leadership experience in managing security department in a public institution or private sector setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence at all levels across a diverse organization.
  • High degree of organization with the ability and willingness to prioritize, coordinate and delegate while under pressure
  • Customer service mindset, experience or high degree of public interaction

Our client, a nationally recognized provider of security services is currently seeking an experienced consultative sales professional for a Business Development Manager role to develop and execute business to business outside sales in the Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding area. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Establish, develop and build quality business relationships with potential clients. Distinguish the employer from competitors by offering tailored solutions for the customers security needs
  • Prospect using a variety of lead generation methods and tools including, existing dedicated social media tools
  • Build and enhance the local brand to enhance the company’s presence and attract a following of target prospects and relationships
  • Identify and recognize the key stakeholders in the buying process to leverage and nurture connections and productive relationships
  • Initiate sales and marketing campaigns which will identify qualified leads to convert into opportunities
  • Contribute to the growth of the company by achieving quarterly and annual revenue objectives by selling long term annual outsourcing contracts to major employers and C-Level Management throughout the assigned territory
  • Strategically coordinate and schedule appointments to maximize client meetings throughout the assigned region

This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Desired Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years in outside sales experience in a B2B setting, preferably selling business services. Some technical sales background is also a plus. In addition, the following skills are required:

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team oriented environment that allows for collaboration within the organization to assure identifying and resolving issues and concerns
  • Proven track record of excellence in sales activity (awards, top rankings, etc.) using consultative sales techniques
  • A true hunter mentality with demonstrated skill leveraging social media and professional networks (i.e. LinkedIn) for prospecting and relationship building
  • A commitment to attend professional networking and community events
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid writing skills
  • Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships
  • Proficient in web-based applications and programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint), to effectively edit and create reports, database entries and presentation materials
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to strategically plan sales calls, sales presentations and cold calling
